Medano Beach:The beloved beachfront of Cabo San Lucas, Medano is an energetic blend of spectacular beach, beautifully azure swimmable waters on the main beach area, activities and of course people. Hot beach clubs, beautiful resorts and fun restaurants line the beach. Hang out at the Mango Deck, Billyganâs Island or The Office where you can enjoy happy hour with your toes in the sand. The gentle waters of the Bay are a beautiful backdrop for kayaking, jet skiing and parasailing. While soaking in the sun on the beach, youâll encounter a host of local hawkers selling anything from jewelry to chewing gum. If youâre interested, bargaining is expected; if not, ignore them. If youâre looking for a hot mix of action and natural beauty, Medano is the place to be. Depending on where youâre staying on Medano Beach, youâre either just a short cab ride or walk to downtown. Note that the further you get from the Marina, the water can become rougher and may be unsuitable for swimming (to the northeast.)
What a beautiful complex! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was always very helpful. The buffet always had something for everyone! The entertainment was fun.
The highlights of the trip were the weather, friendliness of staff, and meeting new friends from other states. Our agent Nik from CaboVillas.com always stayed in touch and made sure our resort needs and requirements were met. Would definitely recommend and use the resort and Nik from CaboVillas.com.
The resort was beautiful and spacious and the place was very clean and immaculate. Jesus and Paulie (poolside waiters) were very friendly and always there when you needed a cocktail. Felix (baggage) was very helpful and of course, how can we forget Enrique....what a wonderful host and always there to make sure that everything was at the best. The staff members at Riu Palace were amazing and very friendly.I feel that the choices at the restaurants on-site were very limited. The buffet was amazing, but very disappointed in the restaurants. I feel airport transportation should be included in the cost. Whale watching in Cabo was amazing.
Things worked well. When the Sant a Fe was closed, we were automatically upgraded to our ocean view at the palace, same price. The food was, by and large, better than expected. The paella was fresh and available lunch and dinne,r and the sports room with all the leftovers and trimmings was a great surprise. Our trip was great!
The best part of our visit was how the staff made sure we were well taken care of. Our dates were just after Cabo really began opening after the hurricane. The Riu corporate made sure that one of their two sites in Cabo was 70% occupied in order to fully use staff. We were booked at RIU Santa Fe but were incorporated into RIU Palace. We had a wonderful stay and will book again on another year. Everything was excellent!
