Pedregal - Bay Side: The Pedregal is the ‘Beverly Hills’ of private residential gated communities in Cabo San Lucas. Despite 30 years of steady growth, the Mediterranean-inspired community still manages to hold onto its Old World atmosphere while simultaneously embracing the new. Built into a magnificent granite hillside surrounded by exotic desert vegetation, the area’s 360 acres feature sweeping panoramic views over either Cabo San Lucas Bay or the Pacific. With cobblestone streets, fine restaurants and numerous recreational options, the emphasis is on privacy and a casual, tropical lifestyle. Exquisite showpiece homes abound. Excellent swimming is available at Mèdano Beach, less than a mile away. The Pedregal is an oasis of exclusivity just steps to all the action of downtown and the marina. The Pacific side of the Pedregal offers stunning ocean views, with whale watching right from the terrace of your luxurious private villa. The beautiful stretch of beach along the Pacific is perfect for sunbathing and beachcombing. Big Pacific waves make this beach unsuitable for swimming.

Drop dead gorgeous and spacious villa. Luis and other staff members were so helpful and made getting around Cabo so easy.

We stayed at Villa Leonetti for my sister’s Bach party and I can’t say enough about how great this villa is! Not only are the views amazing but the house is clean and spacious. Everyone I worked with at Cabo villas was helpful and kind. Thank you Kyla for helping me plan this wonderful stay, Angel for being an amazing concierge and helping me with last minute changes & HUGE shoutout to our driver Eduardo, who was the sweetest and most professional driver. He truly made us all feel very safe. We will definitely be back!!

Villa Leonetti is a wonderful place to celebrate a birthday. Lovely open concept throughout. The pictures do not do justice to how spacious and elegant the villa is. The views are absolutely stunning. While not right on the beach, we also were not as close to the marina's fragrances or the noise of the main street. Our experience at the villa completely exceeded our expectations. I recommend booking the villa via CaboVillas instead of the other vacation rental website. Not only did we save that other site's rental fee, the Villa comes with a wide array of support and services that we really appreciated and enjoyed. Many thanks to Kimberly R, who cheerfully answered all of my many questions, booked restaurants and adventures for me, and generally is the reason why planning a week in Cabo for 8 people was easy. We used the PreStock option for many gallons of water and purified ice. The Villa comes with a concierge (muchas gracias, Pedro!) who greeted us warmly and with margaritas chips, salsa and guacamole. Pedro was always responsive available to help us with anything. I appreciated how he helped coordinate everything related to our stay. He knew our itinerary. He was essential in arranging comfortable, safe transport to and from the Villa with a team of professional, friendly, English-speaking drivers in an air-conditioned van big enough for all of us, who really knew their way around Cabo and got to know us (thank you Rogelio, Pepito, Gustavo, Ruben). So much better than simply calling a taxi. We enjoyed an outstanding lobster and eggs benedict breakfast and mimosas with Victor and Victor, which as like dining in an exquisite private dining room with executive chefs. The lobster was perfectly cooked and substantial (6oz, if not 8oz), with yummy eggs benedict with aspargus and greens, served to all 8 of us at the same time. --Catherine and her team at Chili+Lime provided a wide variety of empanadas with various accoutrements with the La Feria welcome package thoughtfully prepared and presented by Mario, which was so appreciated after a long day of travel. We also appreciated the croissant breakfast sandwiches, coffee and fresh-squeezed orange juiced that were dropped off and beautifully presented the morning of our departure. The Spa coordinator stopped by to introduce us to their massage services, $5 for a 5-minute seated neck/shoulder massage. Wonderful!! I wished they could repeat this service every day. The pool was cleaned and maintained twice during our stay. We can't thank Irais enough for coming each day, keeping our bath and beach towels fresh, removing the garbage to the outside container, and generally keeping the Villa looking great. The Villa is on two levels: the main level when you walk in the door (kitchen, powder room, dining room, living room with fireplace, master bedroom), and the lower level --go down those elegant stairs -- with the remaining three bedrooms and another living room, bar and common bathroom (very large). There are large patio doors that stack 3-deep, which opened the concept up even further. The lower living room couch is a sleeper sofa. We had plenty of room for the 8 of us. At least three of the bedrooms had ensuite bathrooms and immense walk-in closets. Safes were provided in every bedroom. There is plenty of storage spaces in the villa. All light switch banks had easy-to-read labels. Remarkably, the main level master did not have a walk-in closet, but a wardrobe next to the patio door. The water pressure in this master was good for being so high up on a cliff. You may want to coordinate with the showers on the lower level, because concurrent showering did lower the master's shower water pressure. The villa is extremely well-stocked. A large wheeled cooler with a handle was provided. We lacked for nothing in the kitchen. Even the knives were sharp (I always pack a small knife sharpener just in case, but did not need it). There was a wine opener and even a cigar cutter, as well as grilling utensils. Tissue paper, toilet paper and paper towels are replenished. Liquid soap is in every bathroom; a soap bar was near the bath. Blow dryer provided. Large Pantene shampoo and conditioner. Perhaps because of prior travelers, there were pool noodles, pool floats, sunscreen, Febreeze in every bathroom, coffee filters, salt and pepper (and some other spices). The dining room table was key for us, as it matched the villa's sleeping capacity (and exceeded the 8 people in our group) so we could all sit together. The only difference we noted from the pictures is the outdoor dining table on the main level is now a rectangle with wicker seating for 6, and there seemed to be more cushioned wicker seating around the pool. We learned that it can be VERY windy at the Villa. Be sure to remove the cushions from the furniture if you have a windy day, especially with the furniture at the left of the pool. The wind can also cause the solid wood doors on the bedrooms to creak a bit in their frames. Generally, there were no bugs. We occasionally saw a fly or two, and there are ants in the Bougainvillea hedge lining the main patio. As the website clearly states, there may be construction over which they have no control. There was a home being constructed right next to the Villa (and may be an expansion of the villa?), but there wasn't much noise and it didn't disturb us at all because they are starting at the bottom. There was construction of a home that was further along about 4 houses away, which also did not disturb us or interfere with the view in any way. We didn't have to exchange USD for MXN pesos, as US dollars were readily accepted. Restaurants we enjoyed offer the choice of paying in USD or MXN (see the receipt for the exchange rate). Bring smaller bills, enough for tipping your maid, drivers, and any services you enjoy at the villa. When we are back in Cabo, we will definitely stay here again.
