I’ve traveled to Cabo many times, staying at luxury resorts like The One & Only and Esperanza. This was my first off-resort experience and I loved it. I will come back to this place every time I come to Cabo. It was that hands-down fantastic. We came with a group of eight friends for a reunion trip and we literally had the trip of a lifetime. This place is a DREAM. It’s bigger and more beautiful in person. I believe we are the first group who rented this place out, so I’ll go in detail in my review to help you decide if it’s the right place for you. Hint, it is. I’ll start with the house itself. The most impressive feature was the pool. Wow, was it spectacular to look at and so cozy - it was heated to at least 88, maybe 90 degrees so we were in and out of it all day and night. The jacuzzi was big enough to fit eight women and our cocktails. We could easily control the temperature and spa with a push of a button. There were at least 8 loungers (with plush white towels rolled on each - everything was high end!) The backyard also has an outdoor seating nook with eight chairs, a fireplace, and a TV outside. There was also a gas fire pit over-looking the view, so it was nice to have plenty of conversation spots outside. The only downside was mosquitoes (we came in early December), but they had spray and set up Citronella candles. It wasn’t a huge deal. The house has four beautiful bedrooms with king size (super comfortable) beds, ensuite bathroom, and amenities suchs as toiletries, robes and safes in each room. There is a huge master suite and bathroom on one side of the villa with the three others on the other side. The main living area is a grand room with cozy couches, a fireplace, big screen tv, and a dining table for 8. The kitchen is open and beautiful with sub-zero fridge etc. They even had a huge 15 ft Christmas tree which added to the ambiance. The marble floors made it *a bit* echo-y with 8 ladies who don’t have an "inside voice" - but I couldn’t hear them the one night I retired early to the bedroom, so families with kids will be fine. Now to the service. I’ll start with the on-site service - wow did they staff wonderful people! We had Bertha there to make our breakfast and lunch (and she can COOK!) and she cleaned up everything, so no kitchen duty for us! She also cleaned the bedrooms each day, making the beds, doing any laundry, and restocking the fridge. We shopped for groceries when we arrived, but they do have a grocery service available. The drivers were so friendly and safe, going out of their way to make sure we got places quickly and safely. Everything is in A+ shape. They also provided a golf cart which was fantastic when we wanted to head out to the beach (a five min cart drive), or drive to the AMAZING Dunes Beach Club we have access to with the house. We went there several times to play pickle-ball and get drinks around the club pool, which is hands down the best resort pool I’ve seen. (Side note: the beach is on the Sea of Cortez which is a swimmable beach. AWESOME!) Cabo Villas did a fantastic job setting us up with this Villa. We had to make a last minute switch and Alexandria really sold us on this Villa, and I’m so glad she did! It’s near the One & Only Palmilla, and has a very picturesque downtown area (San Jose del Cabo) with high end restaurants and shops, live music and dancers, all 15 mins away. One thing I loved is that Alexandria was totally honest and very invested in us having the best trip possible, so she let us know a different villa we were considering may have construction noise. They also took care of booking our reservations for ATV rides and dinners. One night there was a hiccup, and the only real mistake made, was they booked the wrong restaurant the first night. But they worked with us to find another restaurant and got us our deposit back from the mishap. It happens. And we loved the restaurant we ended up at. All in all, a fantastic trip!
